Our apartment is just a few minutes walk from the lovely 'blue flag' beach of Vera Playa. During the main summer season, between June and September, the beach is manned at all times by lifeguards. There is a swimming pool on the complex and a play area for the small children. It is within a short distance of a large supermarket, restaurants and bars, with a further choice of supermarkets and banks/ATMs near Aparthotel Mexico and at Pueblo Lagunas. 

This apartment comfortably sleeps up to 5 people and is fully furnished in typical Andalucian style.  There are two bedrooms, one double, one twin bedded, both with large built in wardrobes with plenty of coat hangers. The double bedroom also has a chest of drawers and a safe fitted. There is a pull out single bed under the sofa and a baby cot can be arranged on request. 

The kitchen and utility room are fully fitted with oven, hob, fridge, washing machine and microwave.  The lounge diner has a settee, armchair, coffee table, dining room table with chairs, TV, DVD, Sky (free to view channels) and a music system.  The large balcony off the lounge is furnished with table and chairs and is an ideal place for meals as it has the sun for most of the day. The large, private roof terrace has plenty of shade, a BBQ, shower and a large storage box with sun loungers.  The views from the roof are lovely, the sea to one side and the mountains to the other side.

The rental includes all linen, towels and hairdryers. Please bring your own beach towels.

The seaside resort of Vera Playa covers the beach area between Garrucha and Villaricos. In the 1980s the area was practically undeveloped, however, recently the whole area has been undergoing intensive urban development and now boasts several hotels and many beach side complexes. The resort has earned the prestigious blue flag for its 8km of white sandy beaches: Las Marinas, Puerto Laguna, Pueblo Laguna, Puerto Rey and El Playazo. The latter has a large part dedicated to naturism. The area has it's own hotel, bars, restaurants and many apartments.

The water park is located about a ten minute walk from the apartment. It has three pools, a toddlers pool, a medium pool with a wave feature and a large pool. It has the water tube features and also has bungy aparatus.

The park is open from mid May to September and it is a good day out for the whole family. The prices of admission shown on the current website are 15.50€ for adults and 10.50€ for children. Under four's are free. Admission is 40% after mid afternoon, please check the website for details. Two day tickets are usually available with 50% discount for the second day.
